To everyone who has sent condolences regarding the passing of our greyhound, Konrad, we say thank you. The outpouring of concern and understanding has truly helped Pat and I with the grieving of this great loss.
We also say thank you to the Nevin family for taking the last batch of pictures and video of our darling girl.
Another thank you goes to Pam and Joel for sending what we think is a picture of Devi at about 2 months old that was taken during their trip to India to get their son, Micah. All pictures are precious and we are grateful to have every one.
Lastly, thank you to Macy's for putting an end to my year long search for small recliners. We realized after living in this house ten years that there was no comfortable seating in the room that gets used the most...the family room. Since finding out about our sweet pea, Pat has had this starry eyed dream of having Devi fall asleep on his chest while seated in a recliner...hence the new chairs have been dubbed "Devi's recliners".

Pat & Julie,
I hadn't heard about Konrad...I am so so sorry! We do continue to pray for the remainder of the process you have to go through to get your beautiful girl. You're in my thoughts frequently...just daydreaming about the happy day you finally get to bring her home.
Julie,
Daddies and babies sleeping in recliners make for great pics! Look forward to seeing some soon.

I just have to comment again that Devi is so stinking beautiful!!!! The new pic is so adorable of her sucking her thumb. Daya does it too. I hope that the judge gets with the program so you can get over there and get her!!! I can't wait to follow your journey to India!!!!!

I have a GREAT picture of Patrick practicing the reclining maneuver with Lefty! I know that Lefty weighs just a little bit more than wee Devi but he was just trying to help!
I've got the image of Pat asleep on the recliner with Devi taking a brief nap in her Daddy's lap. It's perfect.
hugs
